Sooo...my biggest struggle is myself after having a baby. I quite often stand in my own way. I have many excuses, so I don't fear making them on a daily basis. Between working (sometimes a full time) schedule at home and caring for my almost 11 month old son, Mason, there is truly little time to be thoughtful of what I put in my mouth let alone thinking about exercise. The bigger problem that exists is my energy levels. I feel much older and much more run down in all areas without a good food and moving regimen, so NO MORE EXCUSES. Not one. Just efforts moving forward.
My plan: Well, I do have one. A guided one with some distinct rules. I'm going to skip Weight Watchers this time (our budget doesn't allow for it right now anyway) and I will go it sort of alone. One small change at a time. I'm not going to drastically drop my calories or start exercising like a pheen. I'm going to apply small changes weekly that hopefully will keep me slow and steady to win the race. I'll start with 3.
Week 1 Adjustments:
- I will write down everything I eat
- I will drink water, black coffee or tea only
- I will set some goals for my first reward date of March 31st
Here's to positive self talk and achieving my 3 goals for this week. I think I can manage them, especially since the week is half over.
Cheers!
